Leonardo Martinez-Diaz is Political Economy Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. His research focuses on global governance, the design of international organizations, and the political economy of development. Prior to his Brookings appointment, Martinez-Diaz worked as a research associate in the Global Economic Governance Programme at Oxford University. He earned a D.Phil. (2007) and an M.Phil. from Oxford (2001), as well as a B.A. from Northwestern (1999).
