Michael ChibbaMichael Chibba is the founder of Next Paradigm Canada, and, until recently, served as Managing Director, Distinguished Fellow and Adjunct Professor of the International Centre for Development Effectiveness and Poverty Reduction, Canada. He is a world renown international development, economics, business and global studies expert. His previous appointments are extensive, spanning several decades, and include: Permanent Member, the Independent Investigation Mechanism (“Inspection Panel”), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB, Washington, D.C., U.S.A.); Commonwealth Policy Adviser overseas for the Commonwealth Secretariat (London, U.K.); President and Chief Economist of three international consulting firms, and numerous engagements as mentor, teacher and professor internationally. Michael’s educational background includes various honours and awards, and degrees from York University, University of Ottawa, and Johns Hopkins University. In addition, he graduated from Harvard University’s Executive Program. Michael has an extensive record of research and public speaking, and has published over 100 scholarly papers and professional reports to date, including recent articles in numerous refereed journals. The British Parliament (House of Lords) referenced one of his articles recently. And academic.edu ranked him in the top three percent of researchers in the world. In addition, he was listed under “Top authors in Management” by Microsoft Academic Research. His professional/managerial experience includes service in Canada, U.S.A., and over 35 countries worldwide. Michael is multilingual and resides in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
