David Begg is Director of the Centre for Transport Policy at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, and Chairman of the UK Commission for Integrated Transport. He has recently been appointed Chairman of the National Transport Advisory Group and is a Non-Executive Director for the Strategic Rail Authority, Transport for London and British Railways Board. He also advised the UK Government during the preparation of the Integrated Transport White Paper.
