F. Gerard Adams is Professor of Economics Emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania. He has worked on a broad range of empirical studies, including models of nations, regions, commodity markets, energy, industries and firms, and the linkages between these models. He has long been interested in issues of economic measurement. He has published widely, most recently Accelerating Japan’s Economic Growth (Routledge, 2008).
