Friedrich Wu - World Economics - The journal of current economic analysis and policy

Friedrich Wu is Adjunct Associate Professor at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies of the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is concurrently a (non-resident) Senior Research Associate at the East Asian Institute, National University of Singapore. Before his current academic appointments, Dr. Wu served as Director of Economics (2001–2005) at Singapore’s Ministry of Trade & Industry. Prior to entering government service, he was Head/Vice President of Economic Research for 16 years (1985–2001) at the DBS Bank, the largest banking group in Singapore and Southeast Asia. He received his MA and PhD from the University of Washington (Seattle, USA).
