Ralph Turvey,formerly Chief Statistician of the International Labour Organization (ILO), is a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics. He served on the last RPI Advisory Committee, has advised on the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices since 1993, is a member of the Canadian and Swedish advisory committees on price statistics and has published a CPI Manual at www.turvey.demon.co.uk
