Dennis Anderson
is currently Director of the Centre for Energy Policy and Technology, Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London. He is Visiting Professor of Environmental Economics at University College London and a Senior Associate Member of St. Antony’s College, Centre for the Study of African Economies, University of Oxford. He also sits on the Science and Technology Advisory Panel (STAP) of the Global Environment Facility (the financing arm of the UN Framework Conventions on Climate Change and Biodiversity). He was World Bank Senior Adviser on Energy and Industry (1992-96); Principal Economist on the 1992 World Development Report; and Chief Economist of the Royal Dutch Shell Group, 1987-89.
